🍎🌳 INRA Béni Mellal Participates in the 5th National Apple Fair in Midelt 🌳🍎

The Regional Agricultural Research Center of Béni Mellal (INRA Béni Mellal) took part in the 5th Edition of the National Apple Fair in Midelt (Salon National de la Pomme), held from October 15 to 19, 2025, under the theme “Sustainable Water Resource Management as a Basis for the Development of the Apple Value Chain in Mountain Areas.”

Dr. Kaoutar Elfazazi, representing INRA Béni Mellal, contributed as a speaker during the scientific day on October 17, 2025, with a presentation highlighting research achievements on the technological valorization of apples. Her talk emphasized the transformation of apples into high value-added products such as apple juice, apple vinegar, and apple compote, promoting innovation and sustainability within the national apple value chain.

This participation reflects INRA’s ongoing commitment to supporting research, innovation, and technology transfer aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and resilience of Moroccan agricultural sectors.
